What Tinker keeps, and what it does not.
Tinker keeps as little as it can to work. No email, no IP address, no tracking and no adverts. This page lists all of it.
In short
Signed out, Tinker keeps nothing about you on its server: your agents live in your browser. Signed in, it keeps your wallet address and the things your account holds. It never asks for an email or a password, and nothing on Tinker loads anything from another site.
What is kept
- Your account, if you sign in: your wallet address, the name you set (if any), your saved agents, which agents on paper are yours, your Connect checklist and two settings. For each sign-in, when it started and was last used, with a device word such as “Safari on an iPhone”. The sign-in cookie holds a random code; the server keeps only a hash of it.
- Agents on paper: each agent's share link (its name, look and rules), its paper money, trades and diary. Who may stop it is kept as a hash: of the key your browser made for it, or of your account. Never your address.
- Connected apps: when an AI app asks Tinker about an agent, the app's own name (such as claude-ai) and the time, per agent. Nothing about the person, and nothing your AI asked or was told.
- Fingerprints: for each agent saved or put on paper, its fingerprint, its parent and its share link, so pages can show its family. Nothing about who saved it.
- Credits, if you buy any: your wallet address with its credits, the payments (their transaction, amount and time) and how many answers it used today.
- Reports: the agent reported, the reason picked and the time. Nothing about who reported it.
What is never kept
- No email, no password and no phone number. Tinker never asks for them.
- No IP address. Rate limits count requests by address in memory for a minute; the daily limit on starting agents on paper keeps a salted hash of it for that day only.
- No signature. Your wallet's sign-in signature is checked once and dropped.
- Nothing from your brokerage account. Tinker never sees your login, balances or orders.
- No tracking, no analytics and no adverts.
In your browser
Your saved agents, the key for your agents on paper, your Connect checklist, explain mode, which tips you have seen and a hint that you are signed in are kept in your browser's own storage. Clearing the site's data removes them. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie, and only while you are signed in.
On Robinhood Chain
Fingerprints are recorded on Robinhood Chain: an agent's fingerprint, its parent, the time and the recording wallet. No name, no rules and nothing about you. A payment for credits is your own transaction on the chain. Anything on a public chain is public and permanent; nobody can remove it, Tinker included.
Other services
The server runs at a hosting provider in the EU, which may keep its own short technical logs. Prices come from a price provider and from Chainlink on Robinhood Chain; nothing about you is sent to either. Model answers are switched off today; if they are switched on, only the words being reworded (or the idea you type) go to the model provider, never anything about you.
How long
- A sign-in ends after 3 days unused and after 30 days in any case; a sign-in message expires after 10 minutes.
- The Connected note for an agent goes 7 days after its last call. A diary keeps its last 90 days. Reports keep the newest 5,000.
- Your account stays until you delete it.
- Nightly backups of everything above are kept 14 days, so something deleted can stay in a backup for up to 14 days.
Deleting it
Signed in, open Your account and tap Delete account. It deletes your account at once: your name, saved agents, checklist, settings and every sign-in. You choose whether your agents on paper leave the Live board too; left on, they keep running with no owner. Signed out, clearing the site's data in your browser deletes what is kept there.
Some things stay, because they are not about you or cannot be removed: credits stay with the wallet that paid for them on the chain and are there if you sign in again, fingerprints and their share links stay for agents' families, and anything on Robinhood Chain stays on the chain. The Terms say how Tinker may be used.
